A number of PWPSD schools will observe Green Shirt Day on Monday, April 8 to raise awareness of the importance of registering as an organ donor.
After the death of former Humboldt Bronco and registered organ donor Logan Boulet last year, more than 100,000 Canadians registered to become organ donors, leading to the "Logan Boulet Effect".
Beyond wearing a green shirt, the movement encourages participants to click the "Register Now" button at https://greenshirtday.ca to register with your provincial organ and tissue donation registry.
