Black clouds have been hanging over Grande Prairie as of late, and on more than one occasion, we’ve heard the not-so-distant roll of thunder. Last week, the Peace Country Thunder Under-17 girls’ basketball team made some noise of their own, ending their season with a bang by placing second in the Chestermere and Calgary Tournament held on June 7 and 8.
