Teepee Creek is a small farming community approximately 50 km northwest of Grande Prairie and 22 kilometres east of Sexsmith, Alberta. This community is well known for its annual Teepee Creek Stampede. In fact, it is the largest amateur stampede in northern Alberta.

With a staff of 4.7 (FTE), Teepee Creek school services about 80 students from kindergarten to grade 8.

Teepee Creek Arena - indoor ice surface available to the school in the winter months.
Teepee Creek Hall - the community allows the school to use the kitchen for a junior high CTS food studies option.

Instructional Time
Teepee Creek School runs a compressed school week resulting in an organization base of nine school days per two week block rather than the five school days per one week block.

Kindergarten consists of 1552 minutes per two week block.

Grades one through eight consists of 998.4 hours per year or 3114 minutes per two week block.

The school offers special programs that include speech pathology services, counseling, early literacy intervention, individual classroom project program and a complete swimming program to all of the attending students. The students also particpate in extra curricular events that include sports (volleyball, basketball, badminton, track, floor hockey, slow pitch), students union, year end junior high trip and cultural events.

An active parent group recently organized the construction of a new playground facility for all to enjoy. Many parents participate in the School Council meetings.
