Through their schools, students and their parents are invited to the evening CAREER Showcase of Skilled Trades and Health Fair, presented by CAREERS: The Next Generation. This event will enable students and their family the opportunity to learn about skilled trades, apprenticeship, health and related careers. This is an ideal opportunity for our youth to research the many viable career and education opportunities and hopefully, leave knowing they can make an informed decision about their future. The Exhibitors objectives at the CAREER Showcase: • Share information about health and skilled trades, related industries, and opportunities for employment.
• Make skilled trade and health career education relevant to Junior and Senior High School students.
• Provide students and their families networking opportunities with trade and health-related employers, professional associations and post-secondary institutions.
• Connecting students to potential apprenticeship opportunities.
• Demonstration and hands-on involvement to help motivate students on exploring the trade further.
