PWPSD schools remember

November 06, 2020

Grande Prairie, AB – Remembrance Day events will be held at schools throughout Peace Wapiti Public School Division (PWPSD) on Tuesday, November 10. We also join with all Canadians in recognition of aboriginal contributions to military service on November 8, National Aboriginal Veterans Day. Scenario 1 guidance for school re-entry states that in-person school assemblies or other large gatherings must be avoided. For this reason, PWPSD schools have found creative ways to host meaningful in-class ceremonies. The events listed below are closed to the public this year due to the current public health measures.
