As announced at Alberta School Boards Association’s (ASBA) Fall General Meeting, nominations for the Honouring Spirit: Indigenous Student Awards 2020 are open until 4:30 p.m. on February 1, 2020. This exciting initiative celebrates exceptional students for their exemplary leadership, honour, courage, and commitment to their cultures and education paths. Students may be nominated by other students, teachers, principals, superintendents, education directors, trustees, school staff, Elders or a member of the education community.
