Mother Teresa has often been quoted saying that, “We cannot all do big things to change the world but we each can do something, one thing at a time, to bring about a positive change.” I believe that the staff and students of Harry Balfour live this message each day. Our goal is to work with parents, the community, and the students themselves to ensure every child benefits from being here. As our mission statement says, we are concerned about the academic, social and emotional growth of each of our students.
Thank you for choosing to send your children to our school. As a staff, we hope that you can tell that we care about the welfare of our students. We take pride in our student body and welcome parent involvement, whether that means a telephone call on occasion or coming in to volunteer on a daily basis! It is our belief that by communicating and working together we can provide a first rate education to our students.
Should you ever have questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact your child’s teacher or myself. It is best when everyone is “on the same page.”
Sincerely,
Wendy Crispin (Mrs.)
“The important thing is not so much that every child should be taught, as that every child should be given the wish to learn.”
