2020-2021 School Supplies List
Eaglesham School

ECS 
Supplies: 
  • 2 duo tangs
  • 3 large zip lock bags
  • 2 boxes of tissue
  • A small pillow and small blanket to facilitate quiet time
Shoes:
  • 1 pair of runners to wear inside the school and a pair to wear as outdoor shoes
Clothing: 
  • It is advised that children wear washable play clothes. Please send a complete extra set in case of an accident. Please label all items that your child brings to school including boots, shoes, hats, coats, mitts, snow pants etc.
Lunches: 
  • Good nutrition is part of our curriculum. Please send a nutritious lunch with 2 extra snacks.
Arrival & dismissal times: 
  • For those children who walk to school, they should arrive no earlier than 8:35 AM. Dismissal time is 3:15 PM.
Absences: 
  • Please notify the school if your child will be absent.
Volunteers: 
  • Volunteers are asked not to bring younger children on the volunteer days.
Change in home time arrangements: 
  • If there is a change in the way your child is going home, please send a note explaining the change.

30 cm ruler, be sure the numbers are easily read, see through works best

2  Hilroy Exercise books (Hilroy 1/2 of page is interlined, ½ is blank)

1 Hilroy full interlined exercise book

1 – 4pack of Hilroy regular size scribblers

1 package cue cards

1 pair of indoor, non-marking, running shoes

1 backpack

2 large Ziploc or reusable bags, to store extra school supplies

 

Grade 2

  • 4 glue sticks
  • 1 pair of good quality straight scissors (student scissors no bigger than 7 inches)
  • 6 erasers (white)
  • 2 highlighters
  •  2 rolls of scotch tape
  • 3 duo tang folders
  • 1 packages of loose leaf paper (at least 400 sheets)
  • 2 small binders – 1”
  • 2 set of dividers
  • 2 boxes of tissue paper (Kleenex)
  • 1 pencil sharpener with canister to hold shavings
  • 1 pair of indoor, non-marking, running shoes
  • 1 backpack
  • Indoor shoes and outdoor footwear
  • Gym clothes in a bag (including gym shoes which may be used as indoor footwear)

  • 1 protractor
  • 4 boxes of tissue paper (Kleenex)

  • 1 pair of indoor, non-marking, running shoes
  • 1 backpack
  • Outdoor footwear
  • Gym clothes in a bag (including gym shoes which may be used as indoor footwear)

  • Scientific Calculator with a cost of $10.00 - $15.00 and no more than $50.00. Solar powered is preferred.
