​Grande Prairie, AB – Savanna School will host an intimate graduation ceremony to celebrate eight graduates of the Class of 2020 at the Savanna Rec-Plex on Saturday, July 4, beginning at 2:00 p.m. In adherence with the current physical distancing guidelines, the event will be live-streamed on the Savanna School Facebook page for those who would like to join the celebration virtually.

PWPSD Superintendent Bob Stewart, Ward 2 Trustee Sharilyn Anderson, Savanna School Co-Principals Tina Sauder and Chris Young, Class Valedictorian Zane Dolen, and the graduates' parents will bring greetings. In keeping with the current guidelines for 50-person indoor gatherings, each graduate may invite up to four guests to join them at the celebration.

Members of the media who wish to cover the event must email Principal Chris Young at chrisyoung@pwpsd.ca for instructions. Those experiencing symptoms of Covid-19 must not attend the event.
