On Wednesday, June 5, 2019, Alternative Education staff, students, families and guests celebrated three special events at the Ernie Radbourne Pavilion in Muskoseepi Park:
- The official ribbon-cutting for the new Peace Wapiti Enterprise Centre (PWEC) in Grande Prairie.
- The 20th anniversary of the Peace Academy of Virtual Education (PAVE) which operates out of the PWPSD Sub-Office in Spirit River.
- The Alternative Education Program end-of-the-year ceremony.
Awards and certificates were handed out to Alternative Education Program students and one graduate received his high school diploma.
