On Monday, August 27, 2018, representatives from the United Way Alberta Northwest and local school boards came together to stuff a bus, part of the United Way's annual Tools 4 School campaign to provide donations of school supplies to families in need.
The United Way AB NW website says their aim is to reduce one of the known barriers preventing children and youth from successfully learning and participating in school. Their goal is to ensure no student begins the 2018/19 school year without needed school supplies.
Families requiring assistance should complete the Tools 4 School online registration form at https://unitedwayabnw.org/images/news/events/2018/toolsforschools/Agency-Recipient-Registration-Form_Tools-for-School-Fillable.pdf or call (780) 532-1105.
