Ten PWSD students qualify for Provincial Skills Canada Competition

The results are in. Peace Wapiti Public School Division (PWSD) congratulates all participants in the Regional Skills Canada Competition (RSCC) held on April 27-28 in Fairview, AB, and is pleased to announce that 12 students were awarded medals at the event – eight gold, three silver, and one bronze. Of the winners, ten medalists placed in qualifying RSCC events, and will advance to the Provincial Skills Canada Competition (PSCC) on May 10-11, 2017 at the Edmonton EXPO Centre. A list of medalists is included below. (* Denotes provincial progression.)

(Only two-member Robotics teams may advance to Provincials. Congratulations to fellow PWA Robotics team members Mahlon Knight, Grade 10 and Carter Smith, Grade 12 for their contributions to the team's Regional Skills Canada Competition gold medal win.)
