Peace Wapiti Public School Division is pleased to announce that Alexa Doyle, a Grade 4 student at Robert W. Zahara Public School, is the winner of the 2015 Christmas card art contest. The contest was open to all Grades 4-6 students within the Division. Students submitted artwork under the theme “The best thing about Christmas is…” Due to the outstanding quality of the submissions, choosing a winner was a tough decision for Central Office staff members JoAnn Vanstone and Angela Sears, and Trustee Stefanie Clarke. After much deliberation, Alexa’s wintery nature scene with frolicking animals and waving snowmen was named the winner of the $100 pizza party, to be shared with her class.
