Bezanson School to host professional actors through Artists in Residency Program

As part of its Artists in Residency Program, Bezanson School in Peace Wapiti Public School Division will host two professional actors from Missoula Children’s Theatre on April 22-26, 2014. The actors will hold an open audition for students of Bezanson School, casting 50-60 students to perform in the production. Professional actors Stephanie Brown and Anna Lewing will work with the students throughout the week in preparation for two performances of The Wizard of Oz scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Friday, April 25, 2014, and 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 26, 2014 at Bezanson School. Students not chosen as part of the performance will have the opportunity to participate in workshops on theatrical make-up, mime and creative dramatics. Members of the media are invited to the two performances. If you wish to conduct interviews with the actors or the staff and students of Bezanson School, contact information is supplied below.

Directions:       From Grande Prairie, merge onto Highway 43 East via the ramp to Edmonton. Travel east on Highway 43 for 28.5 kilometres.Turn right onto Range Road 32 at Bezanson Store. The school is located behind the store.
