The melodic harmonizing of the BeeGees’ hit song, How Deep is Your Love, was playing on newly-released Walkman portable stereos, while television was forever changed when Dallas made its debut. Nearing the end of the year, Wayne Gretzky had been traded to the Edmonton Oilers. More importantly, some really great people donned their best pair of polyester bell-bottoms and headed off for their first day of work at Peace Wapiti Public School Division.
