PWPSD schools invite you to celebrate the joy of Christmas

November 30, 2018

Awaken the spirit of the season by attending a Christmas event at a Peace Wapiti Public School in your community.

Cancellations/rescheduling due to inclement weather and any new information about the events will be posted in red below.

Stocking Stuffer Talent Show in the gym. Admission is $2 or a new unwrapped toy for the Beaverlodge FCSS Christmas Hamper Program.

Wed., Dec. 191:00 & 7:00 p.m.Theme: A Christmas Carol. Admission: donations of non-perishable food for the Beaverlodge Food Bank. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for the evening event.

Theme: Santa Goes Green. Concert in the gym performed by students, under the direction of Ms. Becky Mayer and Ms. Holly Galbraith. School Council will serve coffee/tea and baking in the library following the afternoon event. Santa Claus is expected to make an appearance at the evening event.

7:00 p.m.Theme: Christmas Wizard of Oz Winter Musical. All students will fill speaking roles, the choir, and stage management. Bonanza Hall doors open at 5:00 p.m. for a banquet prior to the concert.
MLA Margret McCuaig-Boyd will bring greetings from the province at the concert. 
Clairmont Community SchoolTues., Dec. 46:00 - 8:00 p.m.Concert at the Grande Prairie Alliance Church, opening with performances by the Grades 5, 6 and Junior High bands and the Kodiak Singers, followed by The Nutcracker featuring Kindergarten - Grades 6 students.
Eaglesham SchoolThurs., Dec. 201:30 p.m.The concert will be held in the school gym. In addition to Santa, the Eaglesham School Christmas concert will feature two special guests: Jesper Rothman who works for the Aarhus Theater House in Demark will play the trumpet, and music teacher Carina Blois Rothman, also from Denmark, will play the flute.
