Construction is now complete on the Peace Wapiti Enterprise Centre (PWEC), located in Royal Oaks subdivision in Grande Prairie at 11735-105 Street, Unit #106. A grand opening is being planned for a later date – stay tuned for an upcoming media release.
In the interim, PWEC is currently running a soft opening with doors open during 8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. on regular school days, serving Grades 7-12 students registered in PWPSD’s Alternative Education Program, to provide a space to do course work and meet with and receive support from their teachers. In February, the program will expand, offering classes with a social-emotional focus to Grades 7-12 students.
On November 22, 2018, PWPSD Trustees and Central Office staff, and Peace Wapiti Academy's Grade 9 Knowledge and Employability class toured the new Peace Wapiti Enterprise Centre. View photos from the tour on PWPSD's Facebook page.
