Monday, November 9:

Helen E. Taylor School 11:15 a.m.Guests from the Beaverlodge Legion will attend this event featuring poems and musical presentations by students.

Eaglesham School3:30 p.m. – noon on Nov. 11Eaglesham School will once again commemorate the event with a 'night in the trenches' reenactment. Students will dig trenches and then take turns sleeping and keeping watch throughout the night. The school will lead the community in their Remembrance Day ceremony at Eaglesham Hall at 10:45 a.m. on November 11th.

Featuring special guests Darren Wilsey, veteran; Captain Haggerty; and Gerald Cooke on the trumpet. Musical presentations and Remembrance Day essays by students.
Hythe Regional School2:30 p.m.Local Legion members will participate in the ceremony.

Ridgevalley SchoolOvernightStudents from Kennedy School in Grimshaw will join students at Ridgevalley School to commemorate Remembrance Day by spending the night reenacting the soldiers' experiences.

Rycroft School10:45 a.m.Everyone welcome. Featuring local legion members. Guests are invited to stay for lunch.
Savanna School10:35 a.m.Community members are invited to the school ceremony. Grades 1-4 students will perform 'O Canada' and 'Song of Joy.'
Sexsmith Secondary School10:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. At the school gymnasium.
